We offer one-on-one music lessons for beginning through advanced students of all ages.  Our teachers are all talented musicians with a love for passing on these musical traditions.

Cost for lessons is $55 for 1 hour or $30 for a half hour.

Packages of 4 or 10 lessons are offered at a discounted rate.

Lessons are offered at our location in San Rafael, CA.  Lesson availability depends on the teacher's schedule.

What you will get in your lesson:

Our program offers an emphasis on learning by ear AND learning to read music.  Students can focus on whichever of the musical traditions they are most interested in pursuing.  Beginning students follow a standard repertoire established by our Artistic Director.  Intermediate/Advanced students will focus on expanding their repertoire, giving their playing authentic flavor and delve more deeply into their chosen musical tradition/s.

Instruments offered include: Guitar, Violin/Fiddle, Banjo, Mandolin, Flute, Pennywhistle, Drums, Recorder, and Singing/Vocals.  If there is another traditional instrument you are interested in, please email us and we will do our best to locate or refer a teacher to you.

Payment

As an introductory offer, the first lesson is free.  Once a fit between teacher and student is agreed upon, the student will pay for the appropriate lesson package.  We accept Paypal, Cash and Check payments.  The options for making a payment are listed on the Payment page.  If paying by cash or check, please pay our administer directly at the start of a lesson series, or mail your payment to our business address.

A late fee of $10 will apply for each lesson held where payment has not been received.  Failure to pay for two lessons in a row will mean the student will be dropped from the program.
