Klezmer fiddler and band leader Julie Egger leads this lively, soulful klezmer music workshop for acoustic musicians interested in learning tunes from this traditional Ashkenazi Jewish music.

Students will learn a variety of klezmer tunes, from a Romanian Hora to a Freylach. Common Klezmer embellishments will be taught, as well as primo and secundo parts. All music will be taught by ear. Written music will be given at the end of the workshop.  Students are encouraged to bring a recording device.

Cost for the 6-class series is $150 ($30/class for drop-in).
