If you are a beginning or self-taught fiddler and you'd like to learn some simple techniques to play more cleanly and quickly, then Steve and Robyn can help you out.  We'll take a look at your style and offer tips and exercises to help you develop to the next level in your playing.  Students should plan to have one tune they know fairly well prepared to use as a springboard for talking about technique.  If you've never held a fiddle before, let us know - we can help you take your first steps.  This class is appropriate for beginning through advancing students who want to boost their technique.

The cost for this course is $30 per session

Fiddle Workshop with Steve Gardner

Monthly Class in San Anselmo

This class is geared for the intermediate through advanced player who wants to delve into more advanced technique and different styles of play.  The class covers everything from Irish and Cajun to soloing in a jam situation.  Steve is an accomplished fiddler who has lots of tips and suggestions to share with students.  He will also be bringing in "guest artists" for students to learn from.

The cost for this class is $30/class.  Only available as a drop-in.
